2018 is the year that I am learning to love myself a little more and take care of myself (a lot more). Let’s do it together eh? It has taken me 28 years to learn that in order to care for others (read: my spouse + kids + team), I must first take care of
It’s a complete toss up between whether we love celebrating birthdays or holidays more. I think birthdays, there is just something so lovely about celebrating the day someone you love arrived into this world. Hunter, we love you with all of our hearts and feel so incredibly thankful you are a part of our family.
Happy New Year friends!!! How is it going so far? Ours has been off to a chaotic start but I have so much hope for 2018 and all of the changes coming our way! (When is our life not changing!) I’m starting the year with an open mind and fresh heart. I’ve always been a list maker and I love writing down my goals and plans and January 1st just feels like a great time to reassess!! Sharing some highs (and lows) of 2017, plans for 2018, and how I stay on track!!

Friends who know me well know that Halloween is my jam… like if you text me, yes I’m watching Hocus Pocus, yes I’m drinking a pumpkin spice latte and yes I’ve already put up my decorations. I’ve always loved the Fall but my love only grows deeper with each year. It has been so much
Apparently, I was on a red kick when I was shopping for Addison’s back to school clothes, she loves all of her new pieces though! I can’t believe we have a soon-to-be third grader in our house!! School starts next week for both Addison and Elijah and if I’m being honest, we are so ready. My
Deeeeeep breath here y’all. I’m not even sure where to start other than to say.. I’m doing it. This time, I’m really doing it. I know it’s summer.. and I’ve likely lost my mind but sorry kids.. we are going on a spending freeze. For friends who truly know me, they know how much like blasphemy this sounded
*A super dated family photo because you obvs can’t do a text-only blog post these days right? #millenialsonlyskimread Y’all, how cryptic is that title?? I know, right? It sounds dramatic but it’s the truth!! The “game” started with a podcast I was listening to but I’m well aware it’s nothing new, on the podcast she
